Starting a work log

Placeholder post — replace or delete this once you have something real to say.
I’ve kept engineering notes in private files for years. The problem with private notes is that they never get edited, and unedited notes are worth much less than you’d hope: they’re full of context I no longer remember and conclusions I never checked.
So: a public work log. The bar is “would this have saved me a day six months ago.”
Things that will land here:
- Design notes on agent frameworks — especially the boring parts, like how you decide a tool call actually succeeded.
- Benchmark and evaluation writeups, including the negative results.
- Occasional short pieces on developer tooling and IDEs.
Things that won’t: anything under NDA, and hot takes I’d regret in a year.
Formatting notes
Code blocks are syntax highlighted:
fun main() {
val greeting = "hello, world"
println(greeting.uppercase())
}
